Young Playwrights Festival

Monday, March 31st  2008  7pm.

Thank you to the nearly four hundred authors who submitted their original plays to Florida Stage’s 8th annual Young Playwrights Festival. It was very difficult to select winners and honorable mentions this year. The teachers and students who participated did a wonderful job and we are very appreciative of all the hard work and creativity that went into crafting the plays.

Join us at Florida Stage on Monday, March 31st, 2008 at 7pm for readings of the winning plays with professional actors and a presentation of the awards to the winning and honorably mentioned students. The reading is free of charge and seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. There will also be a reception in the lobby beforehand, hosted by Starbucks.

Any Palm Beach County student in grades K-12 can participate. Your play should be original – be creative and use your imagination!
