Royal Palm Project

ONE WORLD
2pm, May 17, 2008
at the Kravis Center's Rinker Playhouse

To mark the 10th anniversary of Florida Stage’s involvement in the Royal Palm Project, we’re journeying around the world.

Students with disabilities from the Royal Palm School, their teachers, students from the Bak Middle School of the Arts, and artists from the Center for Creative Education work with Florida Stage’s Education Department to create an original theatrical performance.

This year’s theme is ONE WORLD - with students exploring their heritage and culture, journeying around the world while discovering the similarities we all share. In addition to the live performance, this year’s show will be utilizing green screen technology and a satellite link-up with a school for students with disabilities in Virginia.

The public performance is at the Kravis Center’s Rinker Playhouse on May 17, 2008. Tickets are free and can be reserved by calling the Kravis Center’s box office at 561-832-7469. Please join us for this exciting trip around the world!

Special thanks to The Pew Public Education Fund, The Heckscher Foundation for Children, and The Betty B. Bell Educational Trust.
